Care and Support Resources

Life can be difficult at times. Many of us face seasons of anxiety, grief, relationship strain, or deeper struggles that are hard to carry alone. We take these realities seriously.

As a church, we believe that seeking help is wise. God often provides care through trained professionals, medical support, and specialist services, and we want to encourage you to access the right help early. Reaching out is a good and necessary step.

We are here to support you spiritually through prayer, encouragement, and community, while also helping you connect with trusted external support where needed.

Where do I start?

1. Recognise what you’re facing
Be honest about what is going on. Naming it is the first step.

2. Get the right help early
In many cases, speak to your GP or a specialist service.

3. We can help you find support
If you’re unsure, we can point you in the right direction.

4. We walk alongside you
We offer prayer, encouragement, and community as you get help.

What we offer as a church

We provide spiritual and pastoral support alongside any professional help you may be receiving.

  • Pastoral conversations
A space to talk, reflect, and be listened to. These are short-term and focused on helping you take next steps.

  • Prayer ministry
We are available to pray with you and for you, whether in person or during services.

  • Courses and support pathways
Including pre-marriage, marriage, and discipleship courses that help build strong foundations for life and faith.

  • Small groups and community
Ongoing relationships where you can be known, supported, and encouraged.

This support is not a replacement for professional care, but something that walks alongside it.

What we don’t provide

To serve you well and responsibly, there are limits to what we offer as a church.

  • We do not provide long-term counselling or therapy

  • We do not offer clinical, medical, or psychiatric support

  • We may encourage you to seek professional help where appropriate

Our role is to support you spiritually and help you access the right care.
